What attracted you to Podiatry?
It’s always great to help people and see the results of your efforts fairly quickly.
I visited a Canadian podiatrist, Roy Glanville, whilst I was at high school for the treatment of a plantar wart. He informed me that he was involved in the introduction of the Podiatry course at QUT Brisbane (then the QIT). He obviously made a big impression on me – I enrolled in the first student intake in 1977.
What‘s the funniest thing that’s happened to you in the clinic?
One poor old dear with Alzheimer’s removed everything when asked to remove her shoes luckily my PA had the shock, not me!
What are your interests outside Podiatry?
Youth Ministry at our local church, surfing, and hiking.
Share what you love about your family, pet/s or hobbies?
Living near the beach we get to do a lot of outdoor activities together as a family. Our first grandchild is also a great blessing.
