The Hive Mastermind UK – “Originals” (commenced 2015)
Two years ago our business nearly folded. This was due to a combination of illness and the fact our business was ‘owner dependent’ (i.e. if we did not see patients, the business would fail).
We had no business skills, no plan, no training for staff and no idea of how to track the business. It was a relief to find Business Coaches who understood how a private practice works. Within 2 months the changes we put in place started to turn the business around. We have now been members of the ‘Hive Mastermind’ for two years. In that time we have become a profitable business. We have eight weeks holiday a year and a team of Podiatrists and Administrators who are aligned to our goals and values.
We now love being business owners! … Two months ago we won a local Small Business of the Year Award. Thank you Team Hive!
What a find! These guys are one of a kind and I am so glad I found them. Anyone who owns their own business will no doubt know how hard it is to actually work ON their business whilst being stuck working IN their business, but knowing this and actually doing something about it is the difficult part.
I will admit to feeling rather nervous about discussing the intricacies of my business with strangers but in order to grow and develop I’ve learnt that you need to get out of your comfort zone especially if you want to move to the next level. The support and guidance from the Hive has been second to none and to actually have someone other than myself hold me accountable has been a great move and long overdue. I can barely contain the new excitement that I have for my business and really love my mastermind group that are always willing to offer up advice and any suggestions to help me continue to grow.

The Hive Mastermind Application Prerequisites
To be eligible to join The Hive Mastermind, you need to fulfil one of the following criteria
- You are an OPTIMUS Graduate
- You have previously done business coaching through The Hive
- You have done business coaching with another organisation
NOTE: Previous Hive non-coaching members may apply if they can show evidence of a scoreboard and business plans.
