Arti Tank – Foot Corner
Member Profile
How long have you been in business?
Just over 11 years
What attracted you to Podiatry?
It is a medical profession and that I could build my own business.
What’s driving your passion to be a Podiatry business owner and how will you pass this on, into your business and practice culture?
One of my favourite subjects at school was business studies and I always wanted to own a business.
I love it when I am able to offer people what they want and feel happy with the treatment they have received. Especially when they walk out with a smile and then send another 10 people to us.
Within my practice, I want to be able to show that we love footcorner, we love our clients and can’t do enough for them.
What are the largest business challenges facing you right now?
I guess time, staff and having processes in place.
What are the 3 worst things you have seen in Podiatry?
- Unreasonable complaints by clients
- Gps undermining the treatment plan
- Clients not compliant with the treatment plan and then complain about not seeing progress
What are the 3 best things you have seen in Podiatry?
- When clients are pleased with treatment
- When limbs have been saved from amputation
- Talking to clients, sometimes being like a counsellor and hopefully made a difference to their lives
Other than being a fabulous Podiatrist, what do you do outside of Podiatry?
I am a busy mother and wife who loves to compete in triathalons. I love the long bike rides and social runs. Keeping fit is what drives me to keep moving. Use it or loose it!
