How long have you been in business?
Since 2002, if you include the ABN I had to get while driving cabs at uni.
What attracted you to Podiatry?
I had no idea what a podiatrist did. Seriously. I just thought it sounded strange, and an interesting thing to tell people at the time. and it was the first course i was offered. it was fifth on the list behind medicine, physio, dentistry and nutrition. so glad i didn’t get into any of those!
What’s driving your passion to be a Podiatry business owner and how will you pass this on, into your business and practice culture?
A desire to help people live the lives they want to live, free from foot pain. and a love for training new podiatrists to become awesome at their profession.
What are the largest business challenges facing you right now?
Becoming the leader I need to be to serve my team. Learning the skills I need to help them thrive.

What are the 3 best things you have seen in Podiatry?
- People’s lives changed by fixing their foot pain
- working with a team of people who love what they do and treat each other with genuine love
- Getting to know other non-podiatrist medical professionals in our area and forming a culture of collaboration and teamwork
Other than being a fabulous Podiatrist, what do you do outside of Podiatry?
- Hang out with my wife, a lot
- Hang out with our 3 kids, a lot
- Run a goat farm
- Co-operate a café, community garden, and revillaging project with a bunch of awesome people in Sarina, Qld. It’s called Third Ground, and you should check it out www.thirdground.org
- Make compost, from poo.
- Help run a church from the above-mentioned café.
