Arti Tank – Foot Corner

  • Member Profile

    Name: Arti Tank

    Name of Clinic: Foot Corner

Where do you operate: Ashford, Surrey

  • How long have you been in business?

    Just over 11 years

  • What attracted you to Podiatry?

It is a medical profession and that I could build my own business.

  • What’s driving your passion to be a Podiatry business owner and how will you pass this on, into your business and practice culture?

One of my favourite subjects at school was business studies and I always wanted to own a business.

I love it when I am able to offer people what they want and feel happy with the treatment they have received. Especially when they walk out with a smile and then send another 10 people to us.

Within my practice, I want to be able to show that we love footcorner, we love our clients and can’t do enough for them.

  • What are the largest business challenges facing you right now?

I guess time, staff and having processes in place.

  • What are the 3 worst things you have seen in Podiatry?

    1. Unreasonable complaints by clients
    2. Gps undermining the treatment plan
    3. Clients not compliant with the treatment plan and then complain about not seeing progress
  • What are the 3 best things you have seen in Podiatry?

    1. When clients are pleased with treatment
    2. When limbs have been saved from amputation
    3. Talking to clients, sometimes being like a counsellor and hopefully made a difference to their lives
  • Other than being a fabulous Podiatrist, what do you do outside of Podiatry?

I am a busy mother and wife who loves to compete in triathalons. I love the long bike rides and social runs. Keeping fit is what drives me to keep moving. Use it or loose it!
