  • What attracted you to Podiatry?

The variety of problems that you can see and the biomechanical side.

  • What are the 3 crucial elements to your success?

    1. Persistence
    2. Delegation – trusting others to do their job well
    3. Drive
  • What‘s your philosophy on WHY you’re in business?

Coming from a family of business owners, I’ve always thought I would own a business one day. I never really saw an alternative.

  • What has been your biggest OOPS! moment?:

Getting a little carried away on an early indent order oops.

  • What has been your biggest A-HA! moment?

Realising how much it really costs to run a business – facility, staff, resources for providing a great quality service and what it ACTUALLY equates to as a cost per hour/appointment and basing our appointment fees off this.

  • Can you you share one or two marketing elements or methods you’ve used in your practice, that have been successful, and have provided growth?

Working off our own database – not all advertising works – figure out a way to measure it and if it’s not working – stop it or change it.

  • If you had your time over again, what would you do differently?

Clarify what I want to achieve and plan sooner.

  • Other than being a fabulous Podiatrist, what do you do outside of Podiatry?

Travel, renovate our house and spend time at our beautiful, local beach with our dogs.

  • You are a Podiatry Hive BlackBelt Mastermind Member, can you explain what you have learned from BlackBelt and your 3 biggest achievements / wins since joining BlackBelt:

    1. Learning to clarify and plan.
    2. Getting time off tools to work on improving the 3 practices.
    3. Learning how important the team is and the effect of a great culture.
