  • What attracted you to Podiatry?

I liked sport and had an interest in human biology and was attaracted to a profession that had both those elements to it.

  • What’s driving your passion to be a podiatry business owner and how will you pass this on, into your business and practice culture?

I always wanted to be the best at what ever I was truly interested in. I would expect that if you are truly interested in the business of podiatry that you would want this too.

  • What are the largest business challenges facing you right now?

Where do I start I have challenges in all five pillars of business. At the moment it would be transitioning from a general treatment based clinic to a specialist technology based clinic and marketing the new treatments to the target groups.

  • What are the 3 worst things you have seen in Podiatry?

A former head podiatrist defrueded patients out of their life savings and family homes to fuel a gambling addiction. He went to jail
The failure of the podiatry profession to be the go to profession for all foot related problems like dentists are for oral care.

  • What are the 3 best things you have seen in Podiatry?

    1. The formation of the podiatry hive
    2. The increase in treatment options available for foot related conditions.
    3. The cameradrie that exists when podiatrists get together
  • Other than being a fabulous Podiatrist, what do you do outside of Podiatry?

Help out at a local football club as a runner
    Coach little athletes
Help out with a local bush weeding group.
I like to go for a run from trigg to scarborough on the beach every sunday
I enjoy watching all sports in particular football and cricket
