Why Your Marketing Probably SUCKS!

Ok I want to ask you an honest question.
Do you really have a Marketing Plan that is written on paper?

Are you really clear on exactly what you are working on – marketing wise – over the next 12 months and in particular the next 90 days?

If you don’t then I can predict this is why your marketing SUCKS.

If you do this is amazing, but keep reading anyway as you might learn something new.

I am going to make this really simple for you because I feel a great Marketing Plan for 90 days needs to be on just one page. Anymore than this, it’s too much and you just won’t implement it.

How much is it costing you by NOT knowing this information?

Firstly a great Marketing Plan depends on where you are at in your business.

Here are the levels:

If you are just Starting Out most of your marketing plan will be based on finding new clients.

If you are at the Success Stage, a lot of your marketing plan can be around tightening margins, mastering upselling, looking to improving team mentoring etc.

At the Scale Stage, your marketing plan is starting to look for a blue ocean strategy (i.e. unique opportunities) that you may not be currently doing in your business.

So – for simplicity, let’s assume that someone is at the Stability Stage and wants to move towards the Success Stage.

It’s simple there has been a bit of thought put into it and it’s about ten times more likely to occur once it’s written out and some dates are planned to implement it (NB: this plan was written up in 2014, thus the 2014/15 dates)

So stop allowing your Marketing To SUCK once and for all.
